Boy #2 has been expressing to us that he cannot see well at school.  He told me that he sits towards the back of the classroom and he was “squinting” to see the board.  After a few days of this, I finally made an appointment at the eye doctor.  Me being one to say, “just ask to move to the front of the room”  made me “poo-poo” the idea of him needing glasses.  He sometimes let’s it slip that he thinks glasses are cool, and he would like to wear them.  My guard was up!  Well, after he was getting in trouble for more talking in class, I thought I better act.  He explained to me that he was getting a “check mark” by his name because he could not see what was written on the board, so he would whisper to his neighbor, “what does #1 say?” and then he would get nailed for talking!  So an eye appointment was made!  He sure enough needed some specs!  He picked out a snazzy pair of brown rimmed, rectangular glasses with a Superman logo on the arms! (BONUS!)  And here is the new studious, can see from the back row, doesn’t need to squint anymore, able to leap tall buildings, BOY #2!  Is this the face of a future star, or what?
