I am not much of a gardener. Usually, I plant the wrong thing in the wrong spot and the plants don’t last. This year, I dug out a flower bed next to our garage and tried my hand at a few things, and here there are! Now, I will never be as good as my Mom or my sister in law, but these are really beautiful! The purple flowers are a Clematis and this plant just took off! As of today, I think I have 6 blooms and another 6 or 8 buds ready to bloom! The hot pink and orange flowers are Zinnias. Boy #2 picked those out in the spring. When we bought them, they were just tiny little green leaves. Boy #2 learned about Zinnias in school and he assured me that I would love them when they grew, and I really do! The light pink “puff” is my newest addition, a Hydrangea. Hopefully, that will do as well as the Clematis. Enjoy!
This picture does not contain flowers, but I just got this copper star and hung it up in the front of the house. I think it looks nice. What do you think?

Hey Teen: The unknown flowers are sedum…. and they are a fall bloomer. Beautiful job on the flowers. Star and flag look great too. I love being outside. I have lots of flowers that can be split if you are intrested in doing more.

Hey Teen, the unknown flowers are called sedum. They are a fall bloomer and very lovely. I’m no expert, but I do love to mess around outside. Anytime you want some of my collection, we can split them and you can have some to put around your yard. The flag and star look great.
